Most residents have now been relocated under the Guiding Principles for Relocation. A few households have chosen to remain on site during the demolition phase and have moved to a designated area near 37th and Main. All those who have selected other subsidized housing at another site have signed a Tenancy Relocation Agreement.

"Residents First" Promises-

  • All residents will be relocated to other BC Housing public
and non-profit housing units or relocated in the private market with the help of the Rental Assistance Program
or the Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters program.

  • All current residents will have the option to return to Little
Mountain subsidized housing when the new units are complete.

Why have residents been relocated?

An on-site Relocation Office was open for more than two-and-a-half years to assist residents to select other subsidized housing options for the redevelopment period.
